A few days ago Mahindra officially revealed the all-new Scorpio N by releasing pictures and teasers of the exterior of the car. Now, a set of new spy pictures show the cabin space of the all-new Mahindra Scorpio. This might not be the top-end trim of the Scorpio N. Here are the details.
The pictures show that the all-new Mahindra Scorpio N show the seat configuration and space inside the car. The all-new Scorpio N has become much bigger than the previous version of the car. However, judging by the spy pictures, it looks like the new car will offer comfortable last row seating options.
Starting with the front seats, it seems like Mahindra will offer luxurious seats just like the XUV700. These bucket seats with adequate cushioning will definitely make it very comfortable.
A glimpse of the equipment shows that the car will come with a manual handbrake lever. Also, we can see the infotainment system integrated into the dashboard itself. The armrest seems to be adjustable too.
The middle row seats are split and can be tumbled down. There are AC vents in the rear but we do not think that the temperature can be controlled. There is a 12V socket positioned right below the AC vents. The stock set-up offers a magazine holder behind the driver’s seat. The floor also looks relatively flat, which will make the third passenger in the second row comfortable.
The third-row seats also look like they have generous space. The seats are positioned lower and have headrests as well. We can see space on the side for the rear passengers.
Mahindra revealed the exterior
Design details have been revealed in the teaser images and video of the new Mahindra Scorpio-N. The new SUV will get features like LED projector headlamps with dynamic LED turn indicators, C-shaped daytime running LEDs and LED fog lamps on the front bumper, vertical chrome slats on the front grille and a silver skid plate. It also gets rearview mirrors with integrated LED turn indicators, diamond-cut alloy wheels, roof rails and chrome garnish on the exterior door handles and window beltline, which extends towards the D-pillar in a wraparound fashion.
The new Mahindra Scorpio-N has been indigenously developed by the company’s research and development teams at Mahindra Research Valley near Chennai and Mahindra Design Studio in Mumbai, apart from the inputs from Mahindra North American Technical Centre in the USA. The new Scorpio-N will be locally manufactured at Mahindra’s production facility in Chakan. The prices of the new Scorpio-N will be officially announced on 27th June 2022.
