Gautam Adani is now the second richest person in the world, according to Forbes, when the tycoon exceeds the boss of Amazon Jeff Bezos and Bernard Arnault from Louis Vuitton. He is currently worth $ 154.7 billion, showing a list of real-time billionaires.

Elon Musk remains the richest person with a net wealth of 273.5 billion.Last month, Mr. Adani had followed Arnault to reach third place, but was behind Musk and Bezos.

Arnault is now ranked third with his family’s net worth with a total of $ 153.5 billion for declining $ 4.9 billion or 3.08% today, while Bezos ranks fourth with a wealth of $ 149.7 which decreased $ 2.3 billion.

Mukesh Ambani, who heads Reliance Industries Ltd, is in the eighth position and is worth $ 92 billion.Adani, a first generation businessman, heads the Adani group consisting of seven public companies that include infrastructure, mining, energy, and other sectors.

Over the past five years, Adani Enterprises has invested a lot in the new growth sector including airports, cement, copper refining, data centers, green hydrogen, petrochemical purification, roads and making solar cells.
