HCL Tech, JSPL, Shriram Finance and ACC, and raise in Reliance, HDFC, ICICI Bank, Infosys and TCS will take effect at the end of Tuesday’s session.

Global markets: Equities in other Asian markets largely rose after a strong handover from Wall Street, with MSCI’s broadest index of Asia Pacific shares outside Japan trading 0.4 per cent higher at the last count.

On Wall Street, the three main indices, the Dow Jones, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq, finished 0.2-0.6 per cent higher.
