Business Empire Adani Group on Friday said it’ll acquire a significant nonage stake in Cleartrip, an online trip aggregator and part of the FlipkartGroup.Through this investment, the Adani Group and the Flipkart Group will profit from solidarity that will deliver superior trip gests to consumers as the trip assiduity in India sees a rejuvenescence. Since the accession by the Flipkart Group, Cleartrip has seen 10x growth in flight bookings, Adani said.
The deal is anticipated to close in November 2021, subject to customary endingconditions.Also, trends observed by Adani airfields indicate that the number of passengers at airfields has increased, reaching close topre-covid highs. This cooperation will further enable Cleartrip to transcend digital boundaries and bring end-to- end trip services online, it said.
The investment will further enhance the strategic cooperation between the Adani Group and the Flipkart Group, as both parties work towards serving Indian consumers with a wide diapason of digital immolations. As a part of the investment, Cleartrip will also serve as the Adani Group’s OTA mate, it added.
