HGS bag contract worth Rs 2,100 Crore from the British Health Security Agency

Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) on Sunday said his English arm had pocketed a contract worth Rs 2,100 Crore to provide critical customer support to British citizens for a period of two years.

HGS UK Ltd. To pocket a contract from the British Health Security Agency (UKHSA), which is responsible for the NHS test & trace, and the contract will help with the needs of search contacts in the future for Covid-19 and other health security risks such as large flu outbreaks or New pandemic.

“This partnership has been going on after being launched earlier last week, and the contract could be worth up to 211 million British pounds (Rs 2,100 Crore) in the contract period, employing more than 2,000 jobs in the position of the house in the UK,” HGS said in a statement.

The advertised contract costs are the maximum that can be spent, and the total can be less, he added.

European CEO Adam Foster said: “Winning this opportunity is credit for the last 10 years of UK business expansion, and the expertise of the public sector that we have developed and has been recognized.”

According to the Executive Director of HGS and CEO of the Partha Desarkar group, the income of British HGS was around 67 million pounds at the end of 2020-21 and the company had more than doubled its income to 87 million pounds in nine months to December 2021.
