New Delhi: Founder and Chairman of AIRTEL Sunil Bharti Mittal praised the proactive approach to the central government to allocate a 5G spectrum within a few hours after paying the required dues.
“There is no commotion, there is no follow -up, no running around the corridor and there are no high claims. This is the ease of doing business at work in full glory,” Mittal said, Thursday.

“In more than 30 years my direct experience with the telecommunications department, this is the first business! This nation – the power of his dream to become a developed country.”

Bharti Airtel telecommunications operator on Wednesday paid ₹ 8,312.4 Crores to the telecommunications department in advance for contributions for spectrum acquired in the 5G auction that had just been concluded. Airtel has paid fees for 4 years faster than the schedule.

Previously today, the government said that he had issued a spectrum allocation letter to telecommunications service providers while asking them to prepare for the 5G service launch.

“5G update: Spectrum assignment letter issued. Asking TSP to prepare for the launch of 5G,” Minister of Communication, Electronics and Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw Kooed.

With the allotment of this spectrum, India is in the final stage of launching a high -speed 5G telecommunications service.

What is 5G, and what’s the difference with 3G and 4G services at this time?

5G is the fifth generation cellular network that is able to send a very large data set with a very fast speed. Compared to 3G and 4G, 5G has a very low latency that will improve user experience in various sectors. Low latency illustrates the efficiency of processing very high data messages volume with minimal delays.

The launch of 5G is also expected to bring more development in monitoring long distance data in sectors such as mining, warehousing, telemedicine, and manufacturing, among others.

Who are the participants? Reliance Jio, Adani Group, Bharti Airtel, and Vodafone Idea are the four main participants in the spectrum auction.

How much income does the government generate from auction?

– The telecommunications department receives a total offer worth ₹ 1.50 Lakh Crore from the auction that has just been concluded.

– Initial income from the auction was estimated ₹ 80,000-90,000 crore.

Speed:

5G service is expected to be around 10 times faster than 4G.

– Spectrum allocation and formal service launch:

– The spectrum allocation for the previous telecommunications operator is expected before August 15, and the initial 5G service in the country will begin in September-October.

– High -speed 5G telecommunications services are expected to be offered in several cities in County in late 2022.

Adani Group plunged into the telecommunications sector:

– This is the first time Group Adani Adani, who recently jumped into the telecommunications sector, participated in the 5G telecommunications spectrum offering process.
