International Climate Summit 2021: Global hybrid summit is expected to build dialogue for Indian transition to clean energy.
India is ready to host the main conference on Friday as part of the International Climate Summit (ICS) 2020-21 to build a dialogue for Indian transition to clean energy. Policy makers, regulators, industry leaders, experts, and scientists from all over the world will be part of the climate summit. Minister of Union Bhupendra Yadav and Jitendra Singh, Niti Aayog, Dr. VK Saraswat and Sturle Harald Pedersen, Chair of the India Greenstat, Norway are some prominent participants.
Speaking of International Climate Summit 2021, Dr. Ashish Kishore Lele, Director of the National Chemistry Laboratory (NCL), said that the key conference on Friday was very important for India and extensions, the whole world because it would mark the future mitigation strategy of climate change. He emphasized the need to adopt this alternative strategy, highlighting the problems that arise due to dependence on conventional fuel.
Hydrogen power, one of the ‘alternative’ strategies for Indian energy signatures, has been in the main headline since Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his independence day speech on August 15 announced the ‘national hydrogen mission’ for the country. Hydrogen green, which is produced by dividing water molecules into hydrogen constituents and oxygen uses electrolysis supported by renewable energy resources, is expected to be a game-changer for India in meeting its annual energy needs. The state, which currently imports 85 percent of oil and 53 percent of the gas demands, has been reported to spend around ₹ 12 trillion every year on energy needs.
Prime Minister Modi, while announcing the hydrogen policy, said that India aims to become a global center for the production and export of green hydrogen. The International Summit Conference on Friday intends to discuss strategies to strengthen Indian beginner hydrogen ecosystems, between other agendas.
The main conference on climate change – COP26 – is also scheduled to take place in Glasgow in Scotland from 31 October to 12 November 2021. President Cop26 Alok Sharma said last month that it would be the last chance to ensure a global temperature increase did not exceed 1.5 degrees Celsius – The lower limit of the Paris agreement.
ICS 2021 climate summit is detained in partnership with INVEST INDIA; The focus will be on ‘Indian hydrogen ecosystem amplifier’. It is being held by the Committee of the Home and Industrial Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), a non-government industrial development organization.
