Bensel and Diesel Price Update [August 20, 2022]: The price of fuel remains stable on August 20, the latest price notification issued by fuel retailers shows. The price of fuel remains unchanged for more than a month.

Gasoline in Mumbai sells for Rs 106.31 per liter and diesel for RS 94.27. Gasoline in Delhi is the price of RS 96.72 and Diesel RS 89.62 liters. Bensel and Diesel with prices of RS 102.63 and RS 94.24 in Chennai and each in RS 106.03 and RS 92.76 in Kolkata.

Minister of Finance Nirmala Sitharaman announced to cut off excise on gasoline for Rs 8 per liter and diesel with RS 6 per liter on May 21. After that, some countries also reduce state taxes or VAT on fuel to reduce tariffs.

One liter of gasoline will cost RS 96.72 in Delhi. For one liter of diesel, you must be shell RS 89.62 in the National Capital. The price of gasoline stands in RS 106.03 per liter in Kolkata while Diesel is sold at a price of RS 92.7 per liter. In Chennai, gasoline is available at RS 102.63 per liter, while diesel will cost RS 94.24 per liter.

The difference in fuel prices in the state is due to taxes and transportation costs charged by the central government and state.
