RK Damani Hikes Stock in VST Industries, Reducing Holding In Blue Dart: Report

Billionaire Investor Radhakishan Damani has increased its share ownership in Hyderabad VST-based cigarette companies and declined in Blue Dart Express in the March 2022 quarter.

According to the report, Damani and his investment arm had 49.93,204 equity shares in cigarette companies on March 31, 2022, representing 32.34 percent of the shares, up from 49.81,177 equity shares or 32.26 percent of the previous quarter.

VST Industries, which manufacture and distribute cigarettes have a record that Loyo in the previous year, lost around 6% during the period.

Meanwhile, the bright star investment of the company Damani sold around 17,000 shares of Blue Dart Express in the last quarter, in accordance with the publication. The company has 3.48,770 equity shares or 1.47 percent ownership in Blue Dart at the end of the December 2021 quarter, which decreased to 3.31,770 equity shares or 1.40 percent at the end of March 2022.
